Since 2008, HVS has been a family owned, and operated, fabrication shop offering many services supporting large projects to walk-in customers. We are a journeyman-heavy shop with each having over a decade of experience. We can design it, fabricate it, and install it on strict deadlines, holding tight tolerances. We have the experience and the tools to get it done right.
Waterjet Cutting Services
We have two Omax waterjet tables capable of cutting sheets 6’x13’ of any material up to 6” thick. With our A-Jet cutting nozzle, we can cut bevels and countersinks up to 60 degrees with taper compensation keeping parts taper-free up to .005”. Abrasive waterjet machining is a cold cutting process and creates no heat-affected zones (HAZ), therefore it doesn’t change the material properties or leave heat-hardened edges. The versatility of the waterjet is its best feature aside from accuracy, allowing us to cut all parts of a job such as UHMW, stainless steel, and rubber which partnered with our fabrication department truly makes us a one stop shop for production needs. Stack cutting is a popular technique which allows us to cut multiple sheets at the same time offering very competitive pricing on mass produced parts.
